In the historic walkway of the town connecting the Reformed Church and the Transfigurational Cathedral visitors can see life-size sculptures illustrating the past of Nyírbátor, therefore the roots of the Dragon-cult, the legend of Szentvér street and the history of the Bathory's. The walkway functions as the new meeting place of the townspeople for the benefit of the residents and tourists. From June until September visitors that come to the town can find lots of cultural and artistic programmes almost every weekend, while they can also enjoy a walk on the walkway telling the story of the town.
